The Hyde's Spectacles ethos is to embrace the enjoyable things in life. We celebrate the light and the dark, the good and the bad, the sober and the hedonistic. Our inspiration comes from unique individuals with extravagant tastes, wild nights, creative expressions and artistic licenses. We respond to our customers' and collaborators' sense of personal style and expression, and we are motivated by an innate sense of Scandinavian style as well as by the way of life that we see all around us.

Our frames are tools meant for playing with one's image and identity. The name Hyde's refers to Dr Jekyll's more extravagant personality, but also means to the fact that one can Hyde behind one's eyewear. "Mr Hyde" is the persona we all use to express ourselves without limits. After all, there are times when all of us need some protection from the real world.

Art is our calling. At Hyde's, we invest our time and energy into supporting an exciting network of visual and performing artists who constantly evolve and push the boundaries of their talents. The life of an artist is a life lived through multiple personalities, and while the artist is immersed in the creative process, he or she is an embodiment of Hyde's.
